We have to stop acting like owners of this planet. We are simply the current generations of occupants that had better start acting like caretakers.”
- John Tinnon
John R Tinnon has spent over 40 years as owner, founder and chairman of a number of companies primarily related to two industries: Graphic Arts and Hospitality.
While they are decidedly different fields of endeavor, they, like most businesses, share many fundamental values, the most important of which is "always take care of the customer."
Graphic Converting, Inc. was a single-employee start up in 1976 that now has three divisions in Texas and Illinois, currently employing over 300 people in operations.
Gordon Lodge in Door County Wisconsin is a 100-year-old resort that John and his wife, Wendy, saved from the wrecking ball in 2005. It has now been restored to one of the most iconic resort destinations in the county.
Building and restoration are the recurring themes in his career and CCA is all about those themes for the planet.
